Ayat al-Kursi

Transliteration: Allahu la ilaha illa huwa-l-Hayyul-Qayyum, la ta’khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawmun, lahu ma fi-s-samawati wa ma fi-l-ardh, man dhalladhi yashfa’u ‘indahu illa bi idhnihi, ya’lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shay’in min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha’a, wasi’a kursiyyuhu as-samawati wa-l-ardh, wa la ya’uduhu hifdhuhuma wa huwa-l-‘Aliyyu-l-‘Azheem.

English Translation: Allah! There is no deity but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not

Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256

Transliteration: Lā ikrāha fid-dīn, qad tabayyana-r-rushdu minal-ghayy, faman yakfur bit-tāghūti wa yu’min billāhi faqad-istamsaka bil-‘urwati-l-wuthqā la-infisāma lahā; wallāhu samī’un ‘alīm.

English Translation: There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the right path has become distinct from the wrong path. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut (false deities) and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Evening  Adhkar No 14

Amsaynā alā fiṭrati ‘l-Islām, wa alā kalimati ‘l-ikhlās, wa alā dīni nabiyyinā Muḥammadin (ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam), wa `alā millati abīnā Ibrāhīm, ḥanīfan Musliman wa mā kāna mina ‘l-mushrikīn.

We have entered a new evening upon the natural religion of Islam, the word of sincere devotion, the religion of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the faith of our father Ibrahim. He was upright (in worshipping Allah), and a Muslim. He was not of those who worship others besides Allah.
